Communication is key to having a successful relationship with your supervisor. Your supervisor will be a good resource for you in your career. He or she is the best source for support and information to be successful in your job.
When you are learning your role and responsibilities be sure to ask questions. Let your supervisor know how you are feeling and the challenges you are experiencing.
If you get frustrated with your supervisor don’t jump to conclusions. Take the time to talk with your supervisor and share your feelings. Be respectful. This may be common sense but it is not common practice.
Be open to feedback and be willing to change.
